Author Tidbits:
Angela Miller Curtis hasn’t always been a writer. In fact, before writing her first novel, she spent fourteen years in the fundraising world at Colorado State University. Her experiences from those years inspired her first novel.
Being an adventurer, Angela has a creative mind. She loves creating something from nothing. That wonder led to her starting two businesses from her home earlier in her career.
One was a paper supply company where she partnered with her father-in-law and, after four years, sold the business.
But her second business was her baby.
She and her husband manufactured handmade natural soaps and other bath products. They started just as the all-natural bath and body craze began.
For fifteen years, they made products, packaged them, and sold them at craft shows, Renaissance festivals, and mom-and-pop retail stores.
One of Angela’s highlights was appearing on QVC, where she showcased her milk bath. It sold out in twenty minutes, and it was great fun!
During her hectic years of running a business and working at the university, Angela had all sorts of thoughts rattling around in her head. She decided the best way to handle the clutter was to start writing, which led to her writing career.
Her most rewarding accomplishments have been her two children.
She and her husband live in Colorado with their spoiled rotten Jack Russell terrier, Charlie.
