About Angela

Bio
Angela Miller Curtis writes cozy mysteries and women’s fiction. Her first novel, The Accidental Agent, will be released soon.
Before embarking on her writing career, Angela worked for twenty-plus years in business. She launched and operated two businesses and served as executive officer and sales manager for both.
She also served as the assistant director of Talent Management for the division of Advancement at Colorado State University for fourteen years and worked several years as a career coach within that role.
Angela’s experience in business and fundraising has influenced her to pursue a career in writing and publishing.
She lives in Colorado with her husband and enjoys spending time with her two adult children and six grandchildren.
Through her writing, Angela aims to inspire readers to embrace their own journeys. Each character she creates reflects a piece of her heart, inviting readers to connect deeply with their stories.
Whether you’re a longtime lover of mystery or just dipping your toes in, I hope the Mazie Harris series offers a fun escape.
Author Tidbits:
If you’ve been with me for a while, you might’ve noticed a little twist in my writing journey: I’ve traded heartfelt women’s fiction for twisty small-town mysteries. (Don’t worry—there’s still plenty of heart, just with a few more suspicious characters and curious clues!)
So… why the change?
The truth is, I’ve always loved writing about women finding their strength, navigating relationships, and embracing the unexpected. But over time, I realized my favorite scenes to write always involved a little suspense, a curious question, or an unexpected twist.
Cozy mysteries felt like the perfect fit—still full of character-driven storytelling and heartwarming moments, just with an added layer of intrigue (and maybe a murder or two… the fictional kind, of course!).
My stories now feature amateur sleuths, quirky towns, bookstores, and just enough mischief to keep things interesting. If you’ve enjoyed my women’s fiction in the past, I hope you’ll find the same emotional depth and charm, just wrapped in a few more puzzles.
Thanks for sticking with me through every plot twist. I’m so glad you’re here.
With gratitude and mystery,
Angela
